The Mineral Point Opera House on High Street was, per its own site, dedicated in 1915 as the “Theater for All the People” and designed by the Madison firm Claude and Stark as a vaudeville house that drew nationally acclaimed touring artists. Its own site puts seating capacity at 386, and it books touring acts, tribute shows and films.
