Live-music venues worth the trip in Springfield, Missouri

Missouri State University’s arena describes itself on its own site as hosting concerts, performances, and speakers beyond athletics, sharing the building with Missouri State basketball.

Billed on its own site as Springfield’s oldest tavern, it hosts live music events featuring local, regional, and national artists regularly alongside its restaurant and bar.
