Live-music venues worth the trip in Kalamazoo, Michigan

Greenleaf Hospitality Group’s arena, built in 1974 and home to the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings since the 2009-10 season, a venue its history page calls a full entertainment venue offering concerts, professional hockey, family shows and trade shows, seating 5,113 for hockey.

Bell’s Kalamazoo pub, dated by the brewery’s history page to June 1993 as the first Michigan brewery taproom and reopened in 2011 as what it calls a state-of-the-art music venue, with a Beer Garden stage outdoors and the Back Room inside.
