Live-music venues worth the trip in Augusta, Georgia

The downtown Augusta auditorium at the heart of what its own page calls Augusta’s premier destination for concerts, shows and live entertainment, sharing its campus with a members’ club and a Speakeasy Suite, with a new Augusta arena due to open there in 2027.

A downtown Augusta theater that opened in 1940 in an Art Moderne building of Italian marble terrazzo and black walnut millwork, later closed and reopened after a renovation its own story page says spanned more than seven years, now home to the Augusta Symphony.
