Live-music venues worth the trip in Clearwater, Florida

A concert hall designed and built under the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and dedicated in 1983, Tampa Bay’s flagship seated room that has presented more than 3,500 performances and events.

Ruth Eckerd Hall’s outdoor amphitheater in Coachman Park on Clearwater’s downtown waterfront, opened in summer 2023 and named for BayCare in 2024, a shed for national touring headliners.

A 1921 Clearwater playhouse its own page calls one of Florida’s oldest operating theaters, run by Ruth Eckerd Hall with 739 fixed seats, six private loge boxes, an outdoor balcony and a rooftop terrace, a seated room for touring acts.
