Live-music venues worth the trip in Mountain Home, Arkansas

The Sheid is the performing arts and community center on the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home campus, where the Ed Coulter Performing Arts Center seats 824, or about 1,600 when expanded. It presents the Arvest Concert Series, which its own site says “is open to students and the public at no charge”.

Rapp’s Barren Brewing Company brews its own beer and serves food in a restored building on the downtown square of Mountain Home, and its own site says it hosts “live music and community events year-round”.
