Grumpy’s Guitars & Stuff carries acoustic, electric, and bass guitars plus banjos, mandolins, and ukuleles, and stocks new, vintage, and boutique tube amplifiers. The shop also handles professional guitar and stringed-instrument repair and sells straps, accessories, and specialty parts, open Tuesday through Saturday as a walk-in storefront.

Pimentel & Sons has built stringed instruments by hand since the family moved the operation to Albuquerque in 1963, crafting classical, flamenco, acoustic, and jazz guitars as well as mandolins and ukuleles. Each guitar is made to order in the shop, and customers can visit the Lafayette Drive showroom during posted weekday and Saturday hours to see and buy instruments.
