Bob’s Guitars opened in Cedar Falls in 1996 and has been a Cedar Valley fixture ever since; founder Bob Guthart handed the shop to new ownership in late 2025, and it trades on under the same name. The floor mixes premium acoustics and electrics — Fender, Gibson, Martin, Taylor, Guild, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, and Ibanez — with amplifiers from Marshall, Ampeg, Mesa Boogie, and Bad Cat. Used and vintage pieces turn over regularly on the floor.
