The shop is one of the few in the Midwest where pedal steels, accordions, and Irish tenor banjos sit alongside guitars, basses, drums, amps, and PA systems. It carries both new instruments from brands such as Martin, Gretsch, Epiphone, and Sire and vintage and used pieces from the 1920s through the 1970s, plus on-site luthier and repair service. It is also the store that sold “Amos”, the 1958 Korina Gibson Flying V shipped new to the shop on May 29, 1958 and now owned by Joe Bonamassa, who recreated the shop’s late-1950s rooftop photograph of it.
